With the holiday hectic, this is the first chance since our “Bon Voyage” party at the Potneks I’ve had to “catch up” with the Romans. I read and thoroughly enjoyed–all in one sitting–your blog (lingering just a bit and reading twice the “Per le Donne” entry so as to better take-in the lessons you teach
We spent the morning in church where our mutual good friend and neighbor, Kristin Cox, narrated a Christmas singing service ‘Cantata’ (Italian etymology, I’m guessing). It was goose-bump beautiful and Kristin was awesome!
